Marissa Langhoff (JD ’10) on Trial Team Whose $40 Million Products Liability Verdict Named a 2019 Top Verdict

Congratulations to TJSL graduate Marissa Langhoff (JD ’10), who served on the trial team for a top verdict achieved against Johnson & Johnson. Marissa practices as an associate at Simon Greenstone Panatier, which represented Nancy Cabibi in her products liability suit involving asbestos-tainted talc in Johnson’s Baby Powder, which caused the plaintiff’s mesothelioma. In September 2019, a jury found the company liable. The award of $40 million has been named by the Daily Journal, a legal publication, among the 2019 Top Verdicts in California.
