Alumna Esther J. Choe Joins Leech Tishman

Congratulations to Thomas Jefferson alumna Esther Choe (’14), who last month joined the business law firm Leech Tishman. Ms. Choe will work in the Intellectual Property and Litigation Practice Groups.  She will be based in Pasadena, California. The following is from the firm’s press release:

PASADENA, CA – September 10, 2018 – Leech Tishman Fuscaldo & Lampl, Inc. (Leech Tishman) is pleased to announce the addition of a new attorney to the firm, Esther J. Choe.

Esther joins Leech Tishman as an Associate in the Intellectual Property and Litigation Practice Groups and will be based in the Pasadena, CA office. Esther will focus her practice on all aspects of intellectual property law including trademarks, copyrights, patents and trade secrets.

Esther regularly assists clients with matters including preparation and prosecution of U.S. trademark applications, patent and trademark litigation matters, oppositions of U.S. trademark applications, prosecution of U.S. patent applications, patent searches, and instructing foreign associates regarding patent and trademark prosecution.

She is well-versed in legal research and discovery regarding civil litigation and intellectual property prosecution, as well as contract administration.

During the course of her career, Esther has also been involved with a range of corporate and business transaction matters, including the preparation of closing documents, due diligence and closing procedures, preparation of organizational documents for corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships, preparation of board/shareholder resolutions and meeting minutes. Esther also has experience with securities matters.
