Florida Alumni Welcome Dean Guernsey at Alumni Receptions

On Thursday, July 23, Fort Lauderdale, Florida area alumni and students gathered together for an alumni reception. While at the reception, Dean Thomas Guernsey, his wife Kathe Klare, Alumni Relations Director Stephanie Marquez and Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management Tim Spearman connected with and welcomed the Thomas Jefferson alumni and admitted students to the mini reunion and networking event.
Derek Metts ’09 said, “Dean Guernsey and the Alumni Association meeting with out-of-state alumni is a great idea and we had a blast. It was great reconnecting with TJSL and building relationships with local alumni in Florida. Can’t wait for next year!”
On Monday, July 27 Tampa, Florida area alumni gathered together for dinner at U-le-le restaurant with Dean Guernsey, his wife Kathe Klare and Alumni Relations Director Stephanie Marquez.
“It was great to connect with fellow alumni, I hope we can do it more often,” said Denise Gharky ’12.
