August 20, 2012

Amy Day, Heather Harshman and Jennifer Cooper

Three TJSL professors have been selected to serve on various committees for the Legal Writing Institute (LWI) for 2012-2014. The LWI is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving legal writing by providing a forum for discussion and scholarship about legal writing, analysis and research.

Assistant Professor of Lawyering Amy Day will serve on the LWI’s Professional Development Committee; Adjunct Professor Jennifer Cooper on the LWI’s Clinical Cooperation Committee; and Adjunct Professor Heather Harshman on the Global Skills Committee.

With more than 2,800 members, the LWI is the second largest organization of law professors in the U.S. Only the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) involves more members of the legal academic community. LWI sponsors many different working committees and projects, including its publications, workshops, specialty conferences and a national biennial conference.
