Thomas Jefferson School of Law alumna Susan Riggs Tinsky ’08 has been named as the new executive director of the San Diego Housing Federation.

Tinsky, who graduated Magna Cum Laude, had a highly distinguished career as a TJSL student and was the recipient of numerous awards and honors during her time here.

“It means a lot to me to be recognized by the TJSL community,” says Tinsky. “My legal education was undoubtedly a factor in the search committee’s decision. The legal training that I received at TJSL will assist me in advising on local, state and federal legislative matters affecting the federation’s members, as well as the day to day operations of a growing nonprofit.”

“This is great news and doesn’t surprise me a bit,” says TJSL Professor Kaimi Wenger.  “Susan is smart, hardworking, and personable.”
