TJSL Alumni Lead Session with students about Delta Theta Phi
February 4, 2025
TJSL Alumni, Jeffrey Schwartz and Ko Sharif, came to campus on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, to lead a session about Delta Theta Phi, the law fraternity. Delta Theta Phi had a chapter at TJSL for a number of years, and both Schwartz and Sharif were members as law students, and they remain members today. There is excitement and interest to restart a chapter of Delta Theta Phi at TJSL, and the students enjoyed interacting with Schwartz and Sharif. Schwartz commented, “As a former Chancellor of Delta Theta Phi, I am very proud today to share with you my experiences and invite you to join us, and I’m here to mentor and guide you with everything.” Sharif echoed that sentiment, saying “I am a proud TJSL alum, and a proud current member of Delta Theta Phi, and I would be happy to steward this chapter of Delta Theta Phi and help with the restarting process.” Dean Dekle facilitated the interactive session, which included students joining from the online program by Zoom, and she said, “It was such a positive session, I liked seeing the alumni and the current students talking and learning from each other, and I’m hopeful we can restart Delta Theta Phi at TJSL.”
