Thomas Jefferson Named Among Top 25 Most Connected in Country

July 12, 2015

Thomas Jefferson School of Law, one of the most diverse law schools in the country, was named among the nation’s top 25 most connected institutions, according to GraduatePrograms.com.

The renowned site polled more than 10,000 current and former law students to determine what schools provided the best networking opportunities.

“We’re honored by this recognition and proud to be in the company of other well-respected institutions, including Yale, Stanford, North Carolina, Duke and Notre Dame,” said Thomas Guernsey, President and Dean of Thomas Jefferson School of Law. “While we have numerous students forging a successful path to becoming lawyers, many in our program are looking to leverage their law degree in other professions. We, therefore, have the privilege and responsibility to not only teach the comprehensive elements of law, but also help our students and alumni build strong relationships with business, civic and community leaders that can help them achieve their professional aspirations.”

Participants rated programs on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the strongest, in areas that include faculty, peer and alumni networks available to them while in school as well as after graduation. The scores were then averaged to determine the programs with the best networking opportunities.
