Kath Rogers ’16 is the New Executive Director of NLG-LA
April 6, 2018
Kath Rogers (’16) has accepted a position as Executive Director of the National Lawyers Guild Los Angeles chapter. The National Lawyers Guild (NLG) is the nation’s oldest and largest progressive bar association and was the first one in the US to be racially integrated. It unites lawyers, law students, and legal workers in a common mission to protect human rights. Guild members effectively network and hone their legal skills in order to help create change at the local, regional, national, and international levels. Kath is proud to follow in the footsteps of Professor Emerita Marjorie Cohn, an active NLG leader who served as the organization’s National President for several years. “I could not be more excited to take on this challenge,” said Rogers. “I am grateful for this opportunity to use my legal training and experience to advance social justice and civil rights in meaningful ways.”
