Jaieal Turrell (’18) Begins Post at the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, NY District Office

TJSL alumnus Jaieal Turrell (’18) started working at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) New York District office in the investigative unit. Mr. Turrell provides support to the Legal/Enforcement division for ongoing investigations. Mr. Turrell conducts interviews of charging parties and witnesses and drafts consolation proposals, letter of determinations, and recommendations for closures. Additionally, he reviews case files to determine merit and drafts summary memos.
Mr. Turrell tells us that his summer internship in the criminal defense division of the New York Legal Aid Society and his membership in the ADR Honor Society at TJSL helped prepare him for the EEOC position. While a student at TJSL, Mr. Turrell was also a learning assistant for contracts and evidence classes. Mr. Turrell graduated from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry NY with a B.S in Business Administration.
