Fundraiser for Father Joe’s Villages at Dirty Birds in Pacific Beach – Thursday, February 17, 2011

Student Bar Association leaders took on a new role Thursday, February 17, 2011 as bartenders!  Yes, bartenders to raise money by tips from patrons (Thomas Jefferson students and fellow San Diegans).  There was a “short training session” and we were off – it was a great experience by and felt more like the new show on Television where the bosses get to work behind the scenes – needless to say most of us needed additional training and relied on the actual bartender.  Nonetheless, the patrons were happy and in the end we raised over $100.00 in tips for Father Joe’s Villages.  Thank you to all who attended.
