Creative and innovative ideas are at the core of the fashion industry, from the creation of the corset to Lady Gaga’s infamous meat ensemble. However, the theft and unauthorized copying of fashion designs remains a persistent problem, reflecting, some would say, the law’s failure to adequately protect fashionable works. This remarkable forum will provide insight and explore business and legal issues arising from fashion creation. Our talented collection of speakers includes Deborah Greaves, the General Counsel for True Religion, as well as leading industry experts and fashinonistas, all of whom will inspire a stylish event taking on issues from the catwalk to the courtroom.
