Michael Martindill
JD, BSL: Western State University-San Diego (now Thomas Jefferson School of Law)
Professor Martindill has taught at Thomas Jefferson since 1985. He has been a sole practitioner in San Diego for more than 30 years. His practice has focused on estate planning, probate, trust administration, business and real estate transactions and litigation. In addition, Professor Martindill served as a Judge Pro Tem for the San Diego County Superior Court- Small Claims Division for 2 years and the Juvenile Division for 9 years.
In addition to teaching Contracts, Professor Martindill has previously taught Wills and Trusts and Animal Law. He has also been a continuing legal education presenter to local and national attorney groups in estate planning, real property, animal law and equine law. He has been a radio and television on-air commentator and printed media legal consultant in animal law matters.
Professor Martindill is a past president and board member emeritus of the Cowboy Lawyers Association.
