Jay Temple
Adjunct Professor Temple graduated from Thomas Jefferson Law School in 2010. While in law school, he was a Senior Editor of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review and competed as a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. After graduating he passed the California Bar Exam and began working as an attorney with a prominent criminal defense firm in San Diego. In 2015, Adjunct Professor Temple opened his own criminal defense firm, also in San Diego. He is currently on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar Association, a member of the Board of Directors for the San Diego County Indigent Criminal Defense Grant Fund, and a member of the San Diego Criminal Defense Lawyers Club. Adjunct Professor Temple regularly presents CLEs to other criminal defense attorneys, and has written articles for California Attorneys for Criminal Justice related to developments in criminal law and defense strategy.
