Accept Our Offer & Pay Seat Deposit

Congratulations. We are excited that you have decided to join Thomas Jefferson School of Law’s supportive and collegial community. 

To accept our offer, you must submit a seat deposit of $350. The deposit will be credited to your student account and applied toward tuition and / or fees. The deposit is non-refundable regardless of enrollment status.

Graduates of TJSL may sit for the California Bar Exam. A student who intends to practice law outside of California should, before enrolling at TJSL, contact the admitting authority in that jurisdiction for information regarding its education and licensure requirements.

Acknowledgements for All Incoming Students

Week One Orientation Attendance Requirement
All incoming students must complete a mandatory orientation during the week prior to the start of regular classes. The program takes 40-50 hours, combining lecture and written assignments.

Modality:
Residential Students: In-person Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm each day.

Online Students: Asynchronous online. Complete work at your pace.

Dates:
Spring 2025: January 6 – 10, 2025

Fall 2025: August 11 – 15, 2025


Degree and Transcript Requirement
All incoming students are required to provide a copy of their Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree within 45 days of the start of your term.

Online JD Program Attestation

The Department of Education has announced additional regulations for all institutions offering online programs.  Effective July 1, 2024, these new regulations require all incoming students planning to enroll in the Online JD Program to attest that by the date of enrollment, (a) you reside in California or (b) you reside in Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Nevada, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Texas or Washington and that you intend to seek employment in California upon completion of your studies at the Law School.

Complete details for licensure requirements for the State of California can be found at the State Bar of California website here. A person who is licensed by the State Bar of California may be eligible for licensure outside of California in select states. Any student who intends to seek licensure to practice law outside of California at any time during their career should contact the admitting authority for information regarding its education and licensure requirements prior to enrolling at this law school.
