Student Affairs Asst. Dean Lisa Ferreira Chair Elect of AALS Student Services Section

Congratulations to Lisa Ferreira, Thomas Jefferson School of Law’s Assistant Dean for Student Affairs on her recent appointment as Chair Elect of the American Association of Law Schools (AALS) Student Services Section.
Formed in 1900, AALS is a non-profit educational association of law schools dedicated to improving the legal profession through legal education. The student services section is one of 94 sections dedicated to AALS’s mission of providing professional development programs for law school faculty and administrators. AALS is also the principal representative to the federal government and other national higher education societies.
Ms. Ferreira will serve as the Chair Elect for the 2014-2015 year before serving as Chair in 2015.
